SJ Hair World Wig Rental Policy
Welcome to SJ Hair World’s Wig Rental Service! Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your rental. By placing a rental order, you agree to abide by all policies outlined below.
1. Required Information
To complete your wig rental, the following details must be provided:
- Personal Information: Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number
- Shipping Information: Shipping Address, City, State/Province, Postal Code
- Rental Details: Start Date, End Date, Rental Duration (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Payment Information: Credit Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV, Billing Address (if different)
- Additional Information: Special instructions, and a confirmation of agreement to these rental terms.
2. Rental Duration & Extra Charges
- All wig rentals are subject to the selected duration. A standard rental covers 24 hours, beginning at the time of receipt.
- Rentals exceeding 24 hours will incur additional daily charges. Extensions less than 24 hours will incur a half-day charge.
3. Condition Verification
- Prior to shipping, we take detailed photos and videos of each wig to document its condition. Upon return, the condition will be compared to these records. Any damage or alteration may result in fees.
4. Wig Alteration Policy
- Altering the original shape or style of wavy and silky straight wigs (e.g., curling, straightening) is strictly prohibited unless previously agreed upon.
- Lace trimming or hair plucking is not allowed as all wigs are already customized. Any such alteration will result in the requirement to purchase the wig.
5. Installation Recommendation
- We recommend glue-less installations for ease of removal. We can provide recommendations for professional stylists to assist with glue-less applications.
6. Wig Removal Method
- For proper removal, we advise applying methylated spirit to the lace, whether glued or glue-less. Damage to the lace may require you to purchase the entire wig.
7. Refundable Caution Fee
- A refundable caution fee is required for every wig rental. The fee will be refunded upon return, provided the wig is in its original condition.
8. Damage Responsibility
- You are responsible for any damage to the wig during the rental period. Costs for repair or replacement will be charged accordingly.
9. Wig Measurement Integrity
- Each wig is measured before rental. If we detect that any hair has been removed or altered, you will be required to purchase the entire wig.
10. Receipt Verification
- Upon receiving the wig, please create a video showing the lace and the entirety of the wig. This will help avoid any disputes upon return.
11. Pricing
- All prices are exclusive of delivery and pick-up costs. These charges will be added to your total at checkout.
12. Required Documentation
- A valid credit card, active phone number, and at least one form of identification are required for all rentals.
13. Delivery Protocol
- We offer delivery services, and wigs will only be delivered to the address provided during checkout. The wig will be handed over to the person matching the phone number associated with the rental order.
14. Non-Return Penalties
- Late returns will incur a daily late fee until the wig is returned.
- If the wig is not returned within 3 days of the agreed-upon date, the full retail value of the wig will be charged to the credit card on file, in addition to late fees.
- You are also responsible for returning any accessories provided with the wig (e.g., wig cap, comb, storage bag). Failure to return these items will incur additional charges.
15. Delivery & Pick-up Only
- We offer delivery and pick-up services only. All wigs must be delivered to the provided valid address.
16. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental start date for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period will forfeit the deposit.
17. Return Condition
- Wigs must be returned in a clean and acceptable condition. A fee of $100 will be charged for wigs returned in poor condition, with additional charges depending on the extent of damage.
18. Payment and Dispatch
- No wig will be prepared for dispatch or pick-up until full payment for the booking has been received.
